Jono Duffy, Jesus Year

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Jono Duffy is 33. That’s the same age Jesus was when he did all his cool stuff, so he’s in his Jesus Year.
Join this Australian born, Iceland based comedian as he explores this allegedly sacred year of life. What are his goals? What has he achieved? Has he beaten Jesus?

Buy tickets here.

Come experience the hilarious examination of expectation vs reality of life in your mid 30’s.
Jono has become known throughout Iceland for his irreverent charm, quick tongue and non-apologetic brand of humour since he first moved here in 2015, and Jesus year promises to hold nothing back.

What is it like to do a comedy tour of Europe? How do you succeed as a very gay comedian in an industry run by straight white guys? How does it feel to have an unsuccessful TV show?

All of this and more will be answered in his return to the Reykjavík Fringe Festival.
Jono’s previous stand up show ‘I wouldn’t date me either’ was a stand out hit last year, and ‘Jesus Year’ promises to not disappoint.

He’s never been crucified or started a religion, but Jono has certainly done (and failed at) enough to make you laugh for an hour.
